SUSTAINABILITY

Better for residents. Better for the planet.

We’re proud of the progress we’ve made in protecting our planet and creating a healthier environment for the next generation. Through community-led initiatives and everyday actions, we’re finding meaningful ways to make a positive impact. Here are a few initiatives we’re proud to share.

1,500,000 kWh/yr

generated by on-site solar panels.

21,552 KGs

of greenhouse gas emissions avoided through EV charging ports.

100%

of community areas lit by energy-efficient LED lighting.

98%

compliance with removing single-use plastics from operational use.

SOLAR ENERGY

Smart for business and the planet.

Using smart energy solutions like solar power to provide one-third of The Forum’s total electricity use will save an average of $400,000 per year.

WASTE REDUCTION

Eliminating single-use plastics.

As we near our goal of 100% elimination of single-use plastics, we’ve created innovative strategies, such as reusable to-go meal containers, and have even achieved significant cost savings by introducing mesh bags for the pickup and delivery of sheets and towels.

EV CHARGING

Powering for what’s next.

We value EV ownership among our residents and within our own transportation fleet, and offer 25 on-site charging stations.

There's certainly a feeling around here, and I think it's captured by the fact that sustainability is in our mission statement. That we all really do want to leave the planet in a little better shape than we found it.
